Davie &
McCulloch have been established since March 1957 and are Consulting
Engineers specialising in the design, specification and costing
of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services.
The Practice
has extensive experience in the production of engineering designs
and specifications for building services installations associated
with Office Developments, Hospitals / Healthcare Facilities,
Sports Facilities, Higher Education Establishments, Industrial
& Retail Premises and Penal Establishments.
Over the
last 15 years the Practice has been responsible for the M &
E Services designs on a number of major construction and refurbishment
projects, including Cameron Toll & Howgate Shopping Centres,
the redevelopment of Falkirk, Stirling and Perth Royal Infirmaries
and, more recently, major projects at Stirling Castle and Strathclyde
Business Park.
Davie &
McCulloch are currently working on projects throughout Central
Scotland, the Highlands & Islands, the Borders and in the North
of England for a variety of clients including the Scottish Court
Service, Strathclyde Police Constabulary,
In addition
to the latest software design packages, the practice has in-house
facilities for the Graphical Modelling and Thermal Simulation
of a building’s environmental conditions. This enables design
solutions to be tested within a 3-dimensional model of the actual
building prior to construction, and thereby ensure that the
building’s operating environment will meet with the Client’s
requirements.
